Matthew McConaughey‘s ‘Free State of Jones’ casting call for new talent to work on the final scenes filming in New Orleans, Louisiana.
‘Free State of Jones’ starring Matthew McConaughey is now ramping up production in New Orleans, Louisiana and casting directors are seeking actors, models, and talent to work on the upcoming production.
According to Variety, McConaughey will play Newton Knight, a soldier who flees the battlefields after being disillusioned by the horrors that touched his own family. On the run, he rallies the support of fellow deserters to lead an uprising against their former comrades, in the process creating a free safe haven.
Caballero Casting is looking for new talent to work on the final scenes of ‘The Free State of Jones’. Casting directors are looking for talents to play Confederate soldiers, Union soldiers and other featured roles.

Now casting a small group of Caucasian men 20’s-late 40’s to play in a LYNCH MOB scene. BEARDS A PLUS/Facial hair a must and no recent HAIR CUTS. Hair can not look modern or freshly cut. If hair is longer than shoulder length, do not submit if you are not okay with getting a haircut.
These men will also do a scene portraying the Klu Klux Klan so do not submit if you are not comfortable portraying these roles.
