Hallmark Channel’s new movie Christmas Melody is looking for extras in Cincinnati, Ohio.
This week an extras casting call was held in Cincinnati, Ohio for a Christmas Melody, which Mariah Carey is directing and starring in. The movie follows a music teacher who helps the new girl in town write a song for the school’s Christmas pageant.
According to USA Today, the diva will direct, star in and sing in Melody & Mistletoe, which will air December 19 at 8 p.m. ET/PT. Mariah will play a music teacher who helps the new girl in town write a song for the local Christmas pageant.
In a statement, Bill Abbott, president of the company that oversees Hallmark, says of Mariah, “She is exceptionally smart and savvy. Getting to know her a little bit, I’m amazed at her capacity to multi-task.”
