M83 is holding an open casting call for a new keyboard player to join their band.
If you have ever wanted to be a member of a world famous band, here is your chance. On Wednesday, M83 announced that they are holding an open call for female keyboard players to join the band as Morgan Kibby makes her exit.
Gonzalez, the leader of M83, announced the open casting call for a new member on the group’s website.
Of course there are a few requirements for joining the group. In addition to being female and capable of playing the keyboard, a new member must be able to rehearse with M83 in Los Angeles in march, must be able to travel and work between April and December 2016, must have a valid passport for the next two years and must have no criminal record that would bar entry to any country.
That’s not too hard! Interested parties can apply here.
While this may seem out of the ordinary, Gonzalez has scouted new M83 members this way before.
“Back in 2011 I opened up the search for a musician to join the M83 tour. That turned out to be Jordan Lawlor who played with us all over the world and is still in the band!” Gonzalez wrote. “This time I am looking for a female singer who can also play keyboard to join us.”
