Producers are now casting the following roles:
- LILO
6 – 8 years old, precocious Native Hawaiian girl who loves hula, surfing, and wildlife, with a special affinity for all things “gross”. - TŪTŪ
70s, Native Hawaiian, she is a warm, quick-witted woman who speaks with a local Pidgin accent. Lilo and Nani’s neighbor for years, kind and hospitable, and understanding of Lilo and Nani’s struggles. - MRS. KEKOA
55, AANHPI, she is a social worker, a practical, by-the-book kind and patient woman who checks in regularly with Nani, whom she can tell is struggling to keep her head above water while taking care of Lilo.

LILO

The beloved Disney classic is getting a face-lift as Zach Galifianakis joins the live-action ‘Lilo & Stitch movie, making it an even more exciting and dynamic cinematic experience.
The hilarious Zach Galifianakis is joining the star-studded cast of Disney’s upcoming live-action adaptation of Lilo & Stitch, and it’s sure to be an unforgettable adventure!
As reported by Variety, the actor’s role is still under wraps, making them one of the first to join this cast. Disney continues to search for their Lilo and Nani sisters with great intent. The talented Dean Fleischer Camp, best known for his work on Marcel the Shell with Shoes On, is in charge of directing this upcoming feature film. Chris Kekaniokalani Bright has been entrusted to write it, Ryan Halprin takes executive producing duties, and Dan Lin and Jonathan Eirich are in production.
Although its story is yet to be revealed, the adaptation mirrors the original 2022 Lilo & Stitch film. In this movie, 6-year-old Lilo and her older sister Nani take in an alien creature called or Stitch, who they were initially fooled into thinking was a dog.
