Kill The Messenger Feature Movie is Now Hiring Crew Members!

Producers for the upcoming feature film, Kill The Messenger are currently hiring crew members for the feature film.

Georgia Film Industry recently posted a casting call for the upcoming feature film, Kill the Messenger are accepting resumes for crew positions in the feature film

Kill The Messenger is based on the true story of Gary Webb, a San Jose Mercury News reporter who committed suicide after being the target of a smear campaign when he linked the CIA to a scheme to arm Contra rebels in Nicaragua and import cocaine into California. After Gary Webb, wrote his three-part series, Dark Alliance.

Webb implied that the CIA was the catalyst for the increase of crack cocaine in California. The film will take the perspective that Webb was correct and that the CIA used a smear campaign to conceal a political scandal. Ultimately, because of the smear campaign, what would be a career-making story, became a career ending situation .

The feature film will star, Jeremy Renner (Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters) along side Michael Cuesta who will direct the feature film, Kill the Messenger.
