Casting directors are seeking talents to work on scenes filming in Louisville, Kentucky. Producers are seeking the following types:
- Ages 5+
(Mostly adults but we do have a few extra roles to fill with ages 5-13) - Adults 18+
(This story has a heavy presence of martial arts. Please indicate in the notes section on the submission form wether you have martial arts ability. Not necessary for everyone, as we have many types of extra positions to fill)
About The Art of Self Defense:
Director Riley Stearns Stearns revealed on Twitter than he’ll be reteaming with Mary Elizabeth Winstead for “The Art Of Self Defense.” There’s not much in the way of details except that it’s described as a “karate movie,” but it’s probably safe to say that like “Faults,” it’s going to aim your upend any preconceived notions.

The Art of Self of Defense Casting Call
Principal casting is underway for our next project which begins shooting next week in Louisville: THE ART OF SELF DEFENSE – starring Jesse Eisenberg (Social Network; Now You See Me) and Imogen Poots (28 Weeks Later; Roadies)
We are now accepting submission for PAID background actors to be used in many scenes shooting around the Louisville, KY area.
SEEKING:
Ages 5+
(Mostly adults but we do have a few extra roles to fill with ages 5-13)
Adults 18+

Shoot dates:
September 11-October 13th
(You will most likely be needed for only ONE day within that shoot range. Once we receive our submissions, we will contact you with an availability check for specific dates if you are approved as an extra)
