The Roles

• “CORNERED” offers a wide array of roles, catering to diverse talents and skills:
• DARK SHADOWS: Seeking 5-6 performers for non-speaking roles. These roles require significant body movement and the use of costumes and masks. Open to any race and gender, for ages 13 and above.

“DINNER TIME”:

• Husband: A male actor aged 35-50, for an intense role.
• Wife: A female actor aged 35-50, also an intense role.
• Teenage Son: A male actor aged 14-18.
• Zombie Bride: A non-speaking role requiring body movement.
• Human Snake: Open to performers aged 13+, of any race and gender.

“DON’T LOVE ME TO DEATH”:

• Husband: Male, aged 27-40, for an intense role.
• Wife: Female, aged 27-40, for an intense role.
• Girl: Female, aged 7-8, mixed race.

“THE GOOD GIRL”:

• Robin: A sassy and aggressive role for a performer aged 25-50.
• Shelby: Aged 21-40, must be comfortable with stage fighting.
• 2 Men: Male, aged 18+, for non-speaking roles as attackers.
• Dee: Aged 18+, an aggressive character.

“THE REJECTED SON/THE INNOCENT ONES”:

• Richard: Male, aged 50-65, mean and aggressive.
• 2 Women and 1 Man: Aged 18+.
• Male Teacher: Caucasian, aged 50-60.
• Dale: Male, aged 17-20, aggressive, intense role.

“THE INSANE ASYLUM”:

• 1 Girl: Female, aged 18+.
• 3 Patients: Aged 16+, must be comfortable with screaming and body movement.
• 2 Zombies: Aged 18+, non-speaking, body movement required.
• 1 Doctor: Aged 18+, non-speaking role.

“THE END”:

• Dancers and a Violinist.

Responsibilities

The selected cast members will be expected to:

• Perform in alignment with the director’s vision.
• Attend all rehearsals and be fully prepared for each session.
• Work collaboratively with other cast members, the crew, and the director to bring this immersive experience to life.
• Maintain the integrity of costumes and props throughout the production run.

Requirements

• Previous acting experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to take direction and adapt to the dynamic needs of the production.
• Strong commitment to character portrayal and physicality as required by the role.
• For specific roles, comfort with intense scenarios, stage fighting, or extensive makeup/prosthetics is necessary.

Compensation

• “THE END” Roles: Dancers, Violinist.
