An HBO series is now casting multiple speaking roles in Singapore.
Casting directors are now casting actors, models, and talent to work on scenes filming between July 1st through July 9th in Singapore. Details for the HBO series have not been released. However, John Papsidera, the casting director for HBO’s “Westworld” is casting the production. In addition, reports suggest “Westworld” is set to film scenes in Singapore this year.
Producers are seeking actors based in Singapore for the following roles:
- Little girl – Age 6 to 9 years old. Female Chinese) – Character: a little bolder than her friends, sweet with a wide-eyed curiosity. Speaks Mandarin.
- HR Rep – Ages 30s. Male or Female. Any Ethnicity
Character: Friendly and encouraging but ultimately ineffectual in an innocuous way. Speaks English with an American Accent. - Fisherman (Age 40s/50s/ Male. Filipino/Malaysian)
Character: Weather-worn fisherman with grit from a hard life of the open sea. Speaks Tagalog/Malay. - Diplomat (Ages 30s. Male Swiss/Caucasian)
Character: A political and financial agent empowered by his dealings with wealthy clients and by extension considers himself a gatekeeper to circles of influence. Speaks English with Swiss/American/British Accent - Embassy Attendant (Ages 20s. Male or Female. Swiss/Caucasian preferred)
Character: Professional Keen to do their job well and impress. Speaks English with Swiss/American/British Accent - Waiter (Age 30s, Male Any Asian)
Character: Someone who works in a high-end restaurant takes pride in delivering a prime dining experience to his customers. Speaks English. Singaporean Accent.
