WGN’s ‘Underground‘ season 2 casting call for a theater scene in Savannah, Georgia.
WGN’s hit TV series Underground is looking for actors, models, and talent to appear in a theater scene filming this Thursday, October 6th in Savannah, Georgia. Producers are looking for guys who have acting experience.
About Underground:
‘Underground’ follows a group of slaves who plan a daring escape from a Georgia plantation to cross 600 miles to freedom, aided along the way by a secret abolitionist couple running a station on the Underground Railroad, as they evade those tasked with bringing them back, dead or alive.

Underground Season 2 Casting Call
UNDERGROUND: For Thursday, October 6th, we’re going to need 5 Featured Extras to participate in a very important theater scene. We need folks who have acting experience for these spots.
*3 African American Male Actors/Cast in Whiteface ($25.00 featured extra bump).
*1 Lamb (18 – 20 yr old small African American Female) ($25.00 featured extra bump).
*1 Real Piano Player – African American – male or female – will actually be playing piano, and will need to be able to read music and play well. ($100.00 Special Ability Bump).
You’ll also each receive a $25.00 wardrobe fitting bump as we’ll need to fit you on a day before you film.
If you fit the above descriptions and have acting experience/are a seasoned piano player and interested/available for the above mentioned date, please apply A.S.A.P.
Pay rate: $68/8 for your filming day, + a $25.00 bump for your wardrobe fitting day, which should only take about an hour, + featured extra bumps. Filming days normally lasts 12 hours.
Background actors need to be local to Savannah GA, or can work as a local (meaning you have local friends/family that you can stay with) as production will not pay for travel.
