Pop’s new series Florida Girls is now casting extras in Savannah, Georgia.
Casting directors are now casting actors, models, and talent to work on scenes filming on scenes filming on November 27th in Savannah, Georgia.
Producers are seeking the following types:
- We are looking for young, hip, attractive MEN AND WOMEN OVER 18 for a FUN PARTY/BBQ SCENE TOMORROW 11/27. Applicants MUST be able to portray AFRICAN-AMERICAN ethnicity and MUST be able to portray the age range of 20’s-early 40’s.
About Florida Girls:
Florida Girls focuses on four girls living in Small Town, Florida who confront their stagnant lives when their only ambitious friend moves away to follow her dreams. It follows the four girlfriends who are partying under the poverty line while navigating very relatable problems as they try to better their situations. Living in a dilapidated beach town full of alcoholics, these street-wise women haphazardly attempt to find self-worth and learn to “adult” in a society that deems poor, uneducated women as valueless. Their backbone ultimately lies within their tight-knit, non-judgmental and loving friendship.
Pop has given a 10-episode series order to Florida Girls, its half-hour original scripted comedy pilot from The Mick writer-producer Laura Chinn, Lionsgate TV, Jax Media and 3 Arts Entertainment. (Via)

Seeking women who are comfortable with twerking in tight clothing and men and women who can dance the cha-cha-slide dance. This is a fun, beachy scene set in the summertime, so all applicants should be comfortable with wearing flip flops, sandals, shorts, etc.
