Apple is Atlanta background extras for Steven Spielberg’s Amazing Stories reboot in Atlanta, Georgia.

Casting is looking for background actors to work on a 1920’s period party scene. Filming will shoot on January 16th, 17th and 18th in Atlanta and Rutledge Georgia. Producers are seeking Caucasian-looking men and who are in their 20’s to 60’s years old. Everyone must be at least 18 years of age to submit and have a look, and hairstyle, that would match the 1920’s time period.

According to reports, Apple is now filming in Atlanta, Georgia under the code-name “Puget Sound” for the upcoming Steven Spielberg reboot. Variety reports the new series is a reboot of Amazing Stories. “Apple is set to reboot the cult classic sci-fi series “Amazing Stories” from Steven Spielberg’s Amblin Television, Variety has confirmed.” A reboot of the anthology series was originally scheduled for NBC. Bryan Fuller will serve as an executive on the Apple version with Amblin’s Darryl Frank and Justin Falvey also executive producing. The 10-episode order for the series is part of a new content deal between Amblin, Apple, and Universal TV.

Apple’s Amazing Stories Casting Call

***1920’s Period Background needed***

: PUGET SOUND
Dates: Wednesday January 16th through January 18th
Fittings: Monday January 7th or Tuesday January 8th (wardrobe provided)
: Atlanta and Rutledge
Rate: $75 (quarter check for fittings)

Brandi is working on a 1920’s period party scene, filming January 16th, 17th, and 18th in both Atlanta and Rutledge, GA. We are looking for Caucasian looking Males and Females, who look in the 20’s to 60’s age range (everyone must be at least 18 years of age to submit) and have a look, and hair style, that would work for the 1920’s time period. You must be available all three work dates to submit (1/16 – 1/18), and you must be able to get to both the Atlanta and Rutledge, Georgia locations. Everyone must also be available to attend a fitting this Monday January 7th or Tuesday January 8th in Atlanta. Period will be provided, so you don’t need to provide any of your own wardrobe, but due to the specific costumes of that time period, Males must be between a 38 to 42 coat, and a 30 to 34 waist, and Women must be no larger than a size 6.
