Casting Call: Background Actors for Feature Film “Jiminy”
Project Description: We are seeking background actors for the feature film codenamed “Jiminy.” This project will be shot in Santa Fe, NM, and requires actors who can work locally as no transportation or accommodation will be provided.
Roles Available:
- Mary’s Husband: Male, Hispanic/Latino, age range 30-40. We are looking for actors who can portray small-town, rural types to play the husband of our lead actress.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform background roles as directed.
- Follow directions from the film director and crew.
- Be prepared for varying call and wrap times.
- Maintain a professional demeanor on set.
Requirements:
- Must be local to the Santa Fe, NM area or willing to work as a local hire.
- Must be available for both specified shooting dates.
- Must have flexible/open availability for 12+ hour days.
- New faces who have not worked on this project in a pre-fit role are preferred (except drivers with cars).
Compensation:
- $117.00 for the first 8 hours.
- Overtime at time and a half after 8 hours.
- Typical workday is approximately 12 hours.
