‘Conan The Barbarian’ TV Series is In Development with Amazon Studios

Amazon Studios is developing a Conan The Barbarian TV series.

Deadline announced that Amazon is developing a live-action TV series based on the Conan The Barbarian book series. The last time Conan graced the screen was in 2011 remake starring Jason Mom. Before that, the 80’s action star Arnold Schwarzenegger played the lead role.

The Deadline report continues to confirm that Colony creator  Ryan Condal and Game of Thrones director Miguel Sapochnik will be developing the project. The streaming service is starting to create fantastic original shows including the upcoming Lord of the Rings TV series, which is set for 2020.

Conan the Barbarian has no slated release date.
