CBS TV Pilot is now holding a talent search for three lead speaking roles.
Lori Wyman Casting is now doing a CBS Talent Search for an upcoming CBS Pilot. According to a recent post, the casting company is now casting three lead speaking roles. Producers are looking for actors to play the following roles:
- [ ESTELA ] Early to Mid 20s. Latina. Lovely, intelligent, with an M.A. in Art History, she is the Curator at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. Adopted when she was four and born with a heart condition, Estela tries to keep calm, which is not an easy task given her hectic schedule. When she gets passed up for a promotion, something inside her finally snaps, and a more aggressive side of her is revealed. Estela is a driven, imaginative young woman who is torn between her boyfriend, Luen, and Felix…. SERIES REGULAR…SPANISH SPEAKING A PLUS. No accent in English.
- [ SALVADOR ] 40s, Latino. Kind and hard-working, married to Camila, he is Estela’s adoptive father. A good man, a bit old fashioned and stubborn, who feels it’s his duty to provide for his family, he is devastated when the family owned bakery begins failing. In the meantime, he refuses to hear of Estela giving him any money, and is later pleased when Luen tells him that he plans to propose to Estela…SERIES REGULAR…MUST BE FLUENT IN ENGLISH AND SPANISH. Some accent in English is OK as long as it’s clearly understandable in English.
- [ CAMILA ] 40s, Latina. She is Salvador’s wife and business partner, and adoptive mother to Estela whom she adores. Sweet, but strong, also stubborn as well as nurturing, and a woman of steel when she needs to be, she understands Estela’s conflicting emotions concerning the two men in her life, and urges Estela to follow her heart, even if it is the riskier choice…SERIES REGULAR… MUST BE FLUENT IN ENGLISH AND SPANISH. Some accent in English is OK as long as it’s clearly understandable in English.
