Casting directors are now casting, actors, models, and influencers to work on scenes filming in Southern California. This is a live fan event for the upcoming Ghostbusters: Afterlife movie. The event will be filmed with interviews cut into promotional videos for the new movie.

Ghustbusters 3 also known as Ghostbusters: Afterlife is a 2021 supernatural comedy movie directed by Jason Reitman, who co-wrote the movie with Gil Kenan. The movie stars Carrie Coon, Finn Wolfhard, Mckenna Grace and Paul Rudd, while Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, Sigourney Weaver and Annie Potts reprise their roles from the original films. The movie will be a sequel to Ghostbusters and Ghostbusters II, which were both directed by Jason Reitman's father Ivan. It will be the fourth movie in the Ghostbusters franchise.
The upcoming movie is set thirty years after the second movie, a single mother and her two children move to a small town in Oklahoma, where they discover a connection to the original Ghostbusters and their grandfather's secret legacy.
A third Ghostbusters movie has been in development since 1989. Murray refused to commit to any further sequels. Then, after the death of cast member Harold Ramis in 2014, Sony instead decided to produce a reboot released in 2016. The sequel performed badly at the box office, and Reitman began developing a sequel to the original movies. The new cast members were announced in 2019, while the original cast signed on a few months later. Filming took place from July to October 2019.
The film has received positive reviews from critics with acclaim for Reitman's direction, music, and tone.
What is the plot of Ghostbusters: Afterlife?
According to Sony Pictures, the upcoming movie's plot is as follows:
After being evicted from their home, a single mother and her two children are forced to move to a decayed farmhouse in Summerville, Oklahoma, left to them by the children of their late grandfather, where a series of unexplained earthquakes are occurring despite not being situated on any fault and strange things are happening in an old mine which once belonged to the alleged occultist Ivo Shandor.
The children discover the history of their grandfather with the original Ghostbusters, who have since been largely forgotten by the world beyond their fan base.
When supernatural phenomena relating to New York City's “Manhattan Crossrip of 1984” arises and threatens the world, the kids, along with their family and friends, must solve decades-old mystery of the relocation of their grandfather and use the equipment of the Ghostbusters, and become their successors to save it.

We are searching for FAMILIES and GROUPS of FRIENDS for a PAID GHOSTBUSTERS EVENT
This is a PAID (Non-Union) live fan event for the upcoming Ghostbusters Afterlife movie. This event will be filmed, an interviews with the fans will be cut into promotional videos for the new movie.
Fans will participate in a fun event in Los Angeles. (Everyone must work as an LA local). Production requires everyone working on the project to be fully vaccinated
Seeking:
Groups of Friends or Families with children over 12 (also open to Spanish / English bilingual groups/families)
- Candidates must be 12 or older
- Must be legal to work in the United States
- Must be willing to work as a LA local (nontravel or accommodations provided)
- Accepting self-taped videos no later than 8:00 pm PT Sunday, 10/24
- Must be available for a shoot in Los Angeles
- COVID safety protocols will be followed on set.
