Seeking—Mormon Males: late teens-late 20s, Caucasian, all-American, always optimistic, seeking great comedic actors and great singers; African Villagers: male and female, early 20s-late 30s, characters are black Africans, seeking great comedic actors and great singers.
Equity chorus calls will be held July 10 at 10 a.m. (male singers) & 2 p.m. (female singers) at Ripley-Grier Studios, 520 Eighth Ave. (btwn. 36th & 37th sts.), 16th fl., NYC. Prepare 16-32 bars of a contemporary musical theater or pop song that really shows your voice. Casting note: “Stay away from songs that are intentionally slapstick, offensive, or over the top in the humor department. Something genuine and upbeat that shows your personality works best for this show.” Bring sheet music in the correct key; an accompanist will be provided, but may not transpose.
