We are looking for actresses for primary and secondary antagonist roles for a coming of age, dark comedy epic; about a teenage outcast growing up in south Florida with a horrible life. The film is a satirical character study chronicling the life of an anxiety ridden loner in his last year of high school trying to keep his his sanity.
The characters needed are:
Shay [Main Antagonist] : Craig’s tall, blonde, overweight, somewhat racist, sadomasochistic, sociopathic, emotionally and psychologically unstable, cocaine-addicted girlfriend whose father is a dead Mob boss. She’s Italian and Irish mixed with Cuban, stands at six feet and is very insecure about her weight, very abusive when she doesn’t get what she wants and extremely sexually indiscriminate. Her height is between 5’5 -6′ feet tall.
Katy [Lead-Supporting] : Craig’s love interest and optimistic equal. She’s mixed with Italian and Afro-Trinidadian and her she is freakishly intelligent, artsy, carefree, confident,
defensive (over Craig), caring, outgoing around friends shy around
others she has no interest of speaking to, and stoner with nothing to
loose. Her height is between 5’4-5’7.
Nolan: Craig’s seventeen year old best friend who moved to America in his youth from Britain of African descent. He does not have an accent however it comes out whenever he’s drunk. Unlike Craig and Robe, Nolan is more carefree and reserved however always gets into a social situation whenever one is around. He shares more in common with Craig since Nolan is shy, loves anime and both have a future interest in having a profession in writing. He’s around 5’10 with a slim-slender built and a long curly afro. Nolan is very intelligent and is a child prodigy.
Michael: Craig’s nineteen year old, chubby, wealthy ex-frienemy turned full time tormentor. He’s one of the nobody normies that no one gives cared about in school and is a poser in order to gain acceptance in the high school hierarchy. He’s extremely narcissistic and treats women like objects and willing to turn violent if he doesn’t get what he wants. He’s 6’2 and has scene like hair like Oli Sykes from Bring me The Horizon. He’s very knowledgeable of how to commit financial and identity fraud and is semi-okay with computers. However, he’s extremely arrogant, stubborn, spoiled, ignorant and extremely unintelligent despite his knowledge on hacking, fraud, xbox and Pokémon.
Ivy Briggs (Sister 1 of 2) The Briggs Twins: Middle class hipster twins from south plantation who also sells pot. They both stand at 5’8 and have an average physical frame. Ivy Briggs: She has blonde hair and thick rimmed glass. Out of the two she’s the most shy however if something pissed off she goes off. She’s a very mellow stoner whose favorite bands are Rebelution and Empire of the Sun.
Lillian Briggs (Sister 2 of 2) Lillian is a third-wave feminist who is way more outgoing than Ivy yet is more reserved about things that bother her; however, she has a violent fuse once pushed too annoyance. She is more of an upbeat stoner who likes the band Diiv and Never Shout Never.
Filming will take place February throughout April in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
