Rosario Dawson will play Anakin Skywalker's apprentice in ‘The Mandalorian.”
Rosario Dawson will guest star in Disney's ”The Mandalorian” as Ahsoka Tano, Anakin Skywalker's apprentice, and one of the pivotal characters in the animated series ”Star Wars: The Clone Wars.”
According to Variety, Dawson's role marks the first live-action appearance of Tano after being voiced by Ashley Eckstein in the animated series. Details about Dawson's version of the character have not been released. However, her presence in the new season adds a little suspense seeing how Jon Favreau's show takes place during the end of the fall of the Empire and the rise of the First Order.
Season 1 of ”The Mandalorian” ended with Mando flying off to find Baby Yoda's home planet. Favreau announced the arrival of Season 2 in late 2019, with the new season set to hit Disney Plus this October 2020.
