For the BET TV series “Being Mary Jane”, Hylton Casting is currently casting extras for Gala scenes shooting in March, 2013.

Starring in “Being Mary Jane” is Gabrielle Union as she plays Mary Jane Paul. BET describes her character as “Mary Jane Paul is a one-woman show: a successful TV news anchor, entirely self-sufficient — an all-around powerhouse who remains devoted to a family that doesn’t share her motivation. As Mary Jane juggles her life, her work and her commitment to her family, we find out how far she’s willing to go to find the puzzle pieces that she, and society, insist are missing from her life as a single Black female (BET).”

Recently, Hlyton Casting posted the following casting call on their Facebook Page:

For the TV series “Being Mary Jane” Season 1, we are casting extras for Gala scenes shooting in March, 2013. Men must own tuxedos, women must own formal evening gowns, beaded or satin, that are not black or knits. All extras cast for the scene will be required to attend a wardrobe fitting with our Costume Designer in March. Filming will be in Atlanta, GA with a rate of $75/8 hours plus $10 bump for wardrobe fitting.
