Wilmington, North Carolina Casting Call – ‘Bolden’ Movie casting call for dancers in Wilmington, North Carolina.

Casting directors are looking for African American men and women that know how to dance to work on the upcoming feature film ‘Bolden’ which is filming in Wilmington, North Carolina.

‘Bolden’ is the passion project of Hyatt Hotels heir and writer/director Dan Pritzker, who has reportedly funneled millions into the film. ‘Bolden’ centers on a mythical account of the life of Buddy Bolden, the first Cornet King of New Orleans. According to IMDB, Bolden! features Jackie Earle HaleyOmari Hardwick, and Michael Rooker.

Producers are looking for talent that have no tattoos, highlights, facial piercings and know how to dance. Talents that are selected will work on the upcoming feature film, ‘Bolden’.

‘Bolden’ Movie Casting Call

BOLDEN: If you are an African American adult (age 18+) with no tattoos, no highlights in your hair, and no facial piercings/gauges, WHO CAN DANCE, and would like to work as a background actor in the feature film, BOLDEN, and are local to the Wilmington, N.C. area, please follow the instructions below:

Instructions for submitting: #1. Create an account on www.makescenes.com, using the activation code, “buddy”. Make sure your picture uploads. If you have trouble, resize your photo to a smaller size, and try again. #2. Email us at: [email protected], with the heading, “Dance Club Scene”.

The date for these scenes has not yet been determined, but will most likely take place in/near early December, and you’ll need a wardrobe fitting earlier. For now, we are looking at submissions. Once we have the filming/fitting date, we will contact you if you’re a good fit for this scene.
