‘Game of Thrones’ used a photo double for that huge Cersei scene.
One of the biggest scenes in the fifth-season “Game of Thrones” finale was Cersei’s walk of shame. The King’s Landing diva confessed her sins to the High Sparrow (Jonathan Pryce) – and, as a punishment she was made to walk naked through town while locals called her horrific names and threw what looked like food at her.
Although it appeared that actress Lena Headey was naked throughout the scene, she actually used a body double for a large part of the walk. “Our fantastic body double was just so brave. I had a lot of respect for her,” actress Hannah Waddingham — who, walking behind Cersei, rang a bell and said, “Shame!” in the scene — told Vulture.
Lena Headey, who is currently pregnant and expecting her second child this summer, was probably pregnant when the scene was filmed.
