Job Description
A three and a half hour live televised event airing on ABC is hiring a Script Department Assistant. This is a paid Philadelphia local-hire position supporting the script and production teams through rehearsals and parade day.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage and update float diagrams
- Work with parade producers to select stars and groups for morning segments
- Create and manage the production schedule for parade day
- Coordinate timing and placement of all groups and star talent
- Act as Production Coordinator during filming of segments and live hits
Requirements
- Extensive understanding of Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Must own a Mac computer
- Strong communicator who works well with others and meets deadlines
- Reliable transportation; able to self-report to the City Avenue area of Philadelphia
- Philadelphia local hire only
