Amazon’s ‘Mozart in the Jungle’ season 2 is looking for extras in New York City to work on a funeral scene.
Casting directors for ‘Mozart in the Jungle’ is looking for background actors to work on a funeral scene filming on Tuesday, September 1st and Wednesday, September 2nd in New York City. Grant Wilfley Casting, the extras casting director behind Mozart in the Jungle, is looking for men and women ages 40 and older to work on the upcoming scene filming in Manhattan, New York City.
The project is based on the memoir Mozart in the Jungle by Blair Tindall. Mozart in the Jungle is all about sex, drugs—and classical music—and shows that what happens behind the curtains at the symphony can be just as captivating as what happens on stage.

‘Mozart in the Jungle’ Casting Call
Seeking NON UNION Men and Women (ages 40+) to portray Wealthy Funeral Attendees for the Amazon Prime show ‘Mozart in the Jungle’ starring Gael Garcia Bernal, Malcolm McDowell, and Bernadette Peters. Works Tuesday 9/1 and Wednesday 9/2 in Manhattan. Interior scenes. MUST be available for BOTH dates. This is a paid job. Rate is $100/10 hrs.
You must have the following wardrobe, please do not submit if you do not have what is listed:
Men wear a conservative dark suit (navy, dark gray, or black), white or light colored dress shirt, dark tie, dark socks, and nice dress shoes. Women wear a nice dark colored dress (can be black, gray, navy, dark burgundy, dark green), or dark colored skirt suit, or pant suit with blouse. Please bring classic elegant jewelry and a conservative purse.
