Job Description
A feature film proof of concept is casting real truck drivers from across Australia for speaking roles. Current and retired truckers from all backgrounds are encouraged to apply for the opportunity to join the main cast. Interstate applicants are welcome, with paid travel available for selected talent. This casting is open to non-represented and freelance performers.
Job Responsibilities
- Portray an authentic truck driver in a speaking role.
- Participate in filming for the feature film proof of concept.
- Attend scheduled fittings or recall sessions if required.
- Collaborate with the production team during filming.
- Commit to the required shoot days.
Requirements
- Current or retired truck driver.
- Open to all ages, genders, and ethnicities.
- Must be non-represented or freelance talent.
- Available for filming and any required fitting or recall.
- Comfortable performing in a speaking role.
Compensation
- Standard MEAA/Award film rates.
- Paid travel for selected interstate talent.
