Job Description

A character-driven romantic drama feature film is seeking actors for multiple speaking roles. The story unfolds over the course of a single day and centers on meaningful, grounded interactions between characters. The production is looking for performers with strong acting abilities who are comfortable handling dialogue-heavy material.

The film is planned for local screenings and potential distribution across multiple streaming platforms, including Tubi.

Job Responsibilities

  • Portray scripted characters in a dialogue-focused feature film.
  • Attend rehearsals and filming as scheduled.
  • Deliver emotionally authentic performances that support the story’s character-driven narrative.
  • Collaborate with the director and cast to bring scenes to life.
  • Follow production schedules and on-set direction.

  • Recently widowed with a quiet, withdrawn demeanor and strong emotional depth.

Linda

  • Female, 50s–60s.
  • Confident, upbeat, self-assured, and purpose-driven.

Marilyn & Robbie (Sisters)

  • Female, late 60s.
  • Stoic, sarcastic, and emotionally restrained with dry humor.

Sarah

  • Female, late 40s.
  • Quiet, reserved, thoughtful, and emotionally contained.

Richard

  • Male, late 40s.
  • Serious, composed, attentive, and grounded.

Janet

  • Female, 60s–70s.
  • Warm, content, quick-witted, and playful.

Compensation Details

  • Non-union production.
  • Deferred day rate.
  • IMDb credit provided.
  • Travel stipend available where applicable.
