Job Responsibilities
- Write short-form scripts (3–5 minutes) for educational science videos

- Create engaging hooks and story-style narratives for young viewers
- Collaborate with production to include ideas for visuals, props, and simple experiments
- Ensure scripts are energetic, age-appropriate, and engaging
Requirements

- Collaborate with other writers on assigned episode sections.
- Refine dialogue and scenes across assigned episodes.
- Help protect identities and make appropriate story changes for legal and storytelling considerations.
- Complete assigned episodes within approximately five weeks.
Requirements
- Must be available for four required all-day, in-person Writers’ Room sessions in Duarte, California.
- Strong writing ability in crime, mystery, or true-crime-inspired storytelling.
- Ability to write faith-based material with authenticity and sincerity.
- Strong comedic and dialogue-writing skills.
- Comfortable working collaboratively in a fast-paced writers’ room.
Compensation
- $300 per selected episode.
- $150 paid upfront and $150 upon delivery.
- Selected writers are expected to write 1–3 episodes.
