Cleverstreet is seeking a talented Writer / Showrunner for BROTHERS OF VENTURE CAPITAL, an original streaming thriller about three brothers who attempt to escape a secret society and are pulled into a violent spiral of tragedy, betrayal, revenge, and survival.

This is a story about family.

The kind of family that breaks you.

We are looking for a writer or showrunner who can build a cinematic, emotionally intense series with mystery, paranoia, conspiracy, and character-driven tension. The ideal candidate understands how to write brothers who love each other, hate each other, need each other, and may ultimately destroy each other.

The Story

Three brothers make the decision to defect from a secret society.

They think they are choosing freedom.

They do not realize they have triggered something much darker.

One choice leads to another.

One betrayal creates another.

One tragic event changes everything.

Now each brother wants revenge.

Not only against the society hunting them.

But against each other.

As they run from an organization that will stop at nothing to erase them, the brothers must face the terrifying truth that the greatest danger may not be the secret society chasing them.

It may be the blood they share.

Responsibilities

• Develop the series concept, tone, mythology, and character arcs.
• Create episode outlines, season structure, and major plot turns.
• Build the secret society’s world, rules, hierarchy, rituals, and hidden influence.
• Write emotionally charged scenes centered on betrayal, grief, revenge, and survival.
• Develop the relationship between the three brothers as it fractures over time.
• Help shape the project into a premium streaming thriller with cinematic scale.
• Collaborate with Cleverstreet on scripts, treatments, pitch materials, and production planning.

Ideal Candidate

• Has experience writing thrillers, dramas, mysteries, horror, crime, conspiracy stories, or prestige streaming series.
• Understands emotional character conflict, especially between siblings or family members.
• Can write tension, paranoia, betrayal, and morally complex characters.
• Knows how to build a secret organization that feels powerful, terrifying, and believable.
• Can balance action, mystery, emotional pain, and long-form storytelling.
• Has strong instincts for cinematic scenes, cliffhangers, and season-long arcs.

Requirements
