Job Description

A new science-focused YouTube series is seeking a talented scriptwriter to help launch an engaging and curiosity-driven channel designed for kids ages 4–12. This exciting project will bring biology, physics, and chemistry concepts to life in a fun, playful, and easy-to-understand format.

The series aims to create bright, energetic educational content that feels more like play than traditional learning. The ideal candidate will craft dynamic short-form scripts that captivate young audiences while simplifying complex scientific ideas.

Job Responsibilities

  • Write short 3–5 minute scripts covering biology, physics, and chemistry topics

  • Develop strong, attention-grabbing opening hooks

  • Create story-style flow that keeps young viewers engaged

  • Write natural, conversational dialogue for a single on-screen host

  • Include simple notes for visuals, props, and easy experiments

  • Collaborate with the production team to align content with educational goals

Requirements

  • Proven experience in scriptwriting, preferably for children’s content or educational media

  • Strong ability to simplify complex concepts for young audiences

  • Creative storytelling skills with high-energy, engaging tone

  • Familiarity with kids’ educational programming styles

  • Ability to meet deadlines and work on a long-term contract basis

  • Writing samples or reel required
