YouTube Star, VitalyzdTv, was arrested for climbing the Hollywood sign in Los Angeles, California.
It seems nowadays that people will do anything in order to become famous. Is it the Facebook culture? Or the multi-million dollar YouTube stars? I’m not sure but, every day YouTubers are doing more and more obscene things to get likes, subscribers and followers. For example, YouTube personality Vitaly Zdorvetskiy, was arrested on Wednesday after climbing a portion of the Hollywood sign, according to KTLA. Zdorovetskiy was seen waving a flag that read “I’m back,” but it eventually blew away.
Vitaly climbed down from the “D” of the sign and was taken into custody by police. Vitaly announced on Tuesday that he was going to film a “huge stunt” and on Thursday there would be a major comeback video. however, police said Vitaly will spend at least one night in jail, which could hurt his YouTube community.
“The villains missed me,” he told CBS Los Angeles, “They really missed me, the villains. And I had to show them who’s back — ‘Natural Born Pranksters.’ Nothing can stop us.”
What’s natural born pranksters? Well, “Natural Born Pranksters is a movie Vitaly made alongside other popular YouTube pranksters, Roman Atwood and Dennis Roady.
This is not the first time Vitaly got in trouble for a prank. In 2012, he became famous after Vitaly and cameraman Jonathan Vengas attempted a “Russian Hitman Prank,” which involved Vitaly telling a Florida man that he had less than a minute to get away from a briefcase he had placed on the ground. When Vitaly told the man it was a prank, the man started attacking him and Vengas. Boca Raton police arrested and charged him with threatening to detonate a bomb. That prank launched his viewership to over 4 million subscribers on YouTube.
According to reports, Vitaly earns between $3,000 to $32,000 a month.
