Latino (Mexican-American). Good cop on his last shift before quitting the force altogether—without ever firing his weapon. Grew up in Shadow Town; working in this school's library saved him from a completely different path. Devoted family man. Represents hope that people can escape difficult circumstances... and will have to come face to face with the fear that is the Lucha.

GRISELDA "SELY" PEREZ (20s) — LEAD / FINAL GIRL

Latina (Mexican-American). Brilliant but trapped—works retail despite Ivy League acceptances. Daughter of imprisoned crime lord "The Angel of Death." Possesses deadly knife-throwing skills inherited from her father's world but desperately wants to escape that legacy - in order to do so, she'll need to survive the Lucha. Fluent in Spanish is a plus.

He struggles to be the father his wife and kids need him to be, but there's a diamond in the rough. The role demands comedic timing, musical credibility, and the ability to reveal hidden depths.

Must convey vulnerability beneath competence. Awards-caliber role.
