Photo Assistant Crew Call for Studio Shoot in Toronto

Job Description
A studio photography production is seeking an experienced Photo Assistant for a one-day shoot in Toronto. The role requires technical knowledge of professional lighting equipment, with a strong preference for experience with Broncolor systems. This is a paid, full-day position in a professional studio environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist the photographer with all aspects of the studio shoot.

• Set up, adjust, and break down lighting equipment, including Broncolor units.

• Manage cables, modifiers, and other studio gear.

• Assist with camera equipment, tethered shooting, and general studio operations.

• Help maintain an organized and efficient workflow on set.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a photo assistant or similar technical role.

• Experience with Broncolor lighting equipment is a significant advantage.

• Must be available for the full day on Tuesday, January 21st, from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

• Must be able to work at the studio location at Queen and Spadina in Toronto.

• Professionalism, reliability, and strong problem-solving skills.

Compensation

• A flat rate payment of $450 for the day.

• Lunch is provided.
