Job Description:
Casting directors are holding an open call for talented singers to join the Broadway and National Touring Companies of Disney’s The Lion King. This is an exciting opportunity for strong vocalists who can move well and bring the energy, passion, and spirit of the iconic musical to life in both ensemble and cover principal roles.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform musical numbers with strong vocal range and dynamic stage presence
- Move well in choreography-based staging and ensemble sequences
- Bring energy, emotion, and authenticity to performances
- Participate in rehearsals, training, and live productions
Requirements:
- Open to strong male-identifying and female-identifying singers
- Must have strong vocal skills and ability to move well
- Must prepare one brief standard R&B, pop, or rock-and-roll song (no material from The Lion King)
- Bring a picture and resume, stapled together
- Bring sheet music; pianist provided
- Must be signed up by 11:00 AM CST to audition
