Job Description
A meaningful branded documentary project is seeking South Asian (Indian, Pakistani, Sri Lankan, Bangladeshi) or Southeast Asian (Vietnamese or Filipino) immigrants or students aged 25–45 who are arriving in Vancouver, Canada between September 1st and November 30th, 2025. This project will document the arrival experience and personal stories of individuals starting a new chapter in Canada. No acting experience is required—just an outgoing personality and comfort being on camera.

Job Responsibilities

  • Participate in on-camera interviews documenting your arrival in Canada

  • Share personal stories and experiences in an authentic and engaging way

  • Be filmed at the airport upon arrival in Vancouver

  • Be available for a brief online interview with the director if shortlisted

Requirements

  • Ages 25–45

  • South Asian or Southeast Asian background

  • Must be legally entering Canada for work or study

  • Arriving in Vancouver between September 1st and November 30th, 2025

  • Outgoing, comfortable on camera, and able to share personal experiences

Compensation

  • $5,000 honorarium if selected

  • If referred by a family member, friend, or contact in Canada who recommended this opportunity, they will receive $2,500
