Job Description

An upcoming feature-length docu-fiction film set in New York City is seeking talent. The story centers on a taxi driver who revisits moments of his life through powerful late-night encounters with a range of passengers. Blending documentary and fictional elements, the film aims to portray deeply authentic and emotionally resonant character interactions.

Producers are looking for confident, naturally curious, and engaging individuals to portray the various passengers. Strong improvisational skills, the ability to sustain meaningful conversations, and ease with unscripted dialogue are essential. This is a passion project, and filming will take place overnight in NYC.

Job Responsibilities

  • Portray characters based on detailed personality breakdowns

  • Engage in naturalistic, semi-improvised conversations during filming

  • Work collaboratively with a small, creative film team

  • Attend one rehearsal and complete one overnight filming session

  • Bring authenticity, spontaneity, and character-driven depth to scenes

Requirements

We are casting the following non-union roles:

  • Millennial Woman (20s–30s, Any Ethnicity): Confident, curious, disarming; grows more engaged during her ride.

  • Young Balkan Man (Early 20s, Balkan): Newly arrived in NYC, reserved, must speak with a Balkan accent.

  • Older Man (60s–70s, Middle Eastern or Central European): Physically imposing, loud, talkative, politically aware.

  • Two NYC Hustlers (Late teens–early 20s, Any Ethnicity): Must know each other in real life; street-smart, high-energy, unpredictable duo.

Compensation

  • Rate: $1,000 total per actor (includes one rehearsal + one overnight shoot)

Job Description

A new unscripted documentary series is now casting women who are currently living — or have previously lived — a “traditional wife” lifestyle. This project is a thoughtful, human exploration of why this lifestyle works for some women and why it may not for others.

The series is not a parody, political commentary, or hit piece. Producers are seeking authentic, real stories from women across a wide range of experiences, beliefs, and relationship statuses. Participants do not need a large social media following and are not expected to represent anyone but themselves.

Job Responsibilities

  • Share personal experiences and perspectives on living a traditional wife lifestyle (past or present)

  • Participate in on-camera interviews for an unscripted documentary series

  • Provide honest and thoughtful reflections on identity, relationships, and lifestyle choices

  • Maintain open communication with the production team

Requirements

  • Women who are currently embracing the traditional wife lifestyle

  • Women who have left the lifestyle (recently or long ago)

  • Married, divorced, separated, or questioning

  • Religious, secular, or anywhere in between

  • Women who feel empowered, fulfilled, misunderstood, regretful, or conflicted about the experience

  • Willingness to share personal story on camera

  • Open to participants from various locations

Compensation Details

  • Compensation details to be discussed with selected participants

  • Opportunity to be featured in a professionally produced documentary series

  • All inquiries kept confidential
