Requirements

• Long black hair strongly preferred
• Must appear to be of Native American descent
• No prior acting experience required
• Must be able to self-report to Philadelphia area (filming in Delaware County, PA)

Compensation

• Rate: $300–$400 per day
• Paid featured role in a PBS historical production
• One-day shoot with potential for strong visibility

A historical film shooting in the Philadelphia area is casting a white male actor to portray Thunes Kunders and appear as William Penn from behind in a visual scene. This non-speaking role is a key part of visually anchoring the film’s authenticity, particularly in reenactments tied to the Mattson and Kunders storylines.

Job Responsibilities

• Portray Thunes Kunders in period costume during courtroom or community scenes

• Serve as a body double for a back-of-head shot representing William Penn

• Collaborate with director to match visual and historical details

• Attend fittings and Zoom callback if selected

Requirements

• White male, late 30s to mid 40s

• Dark hair preferred, shoulder-length or longer (not required)

• Must be local to Philadelphia

• Available for filming in early July (excluding July 4th weekend)

Compensation

• Paid role: $150–$300/day depending on responsibilities
