Job Description: The docu-drama “People of the West” is seeking Native American men and women for SAG-AFTRA speaking roles. This production offers an exciting opportunity to be featured in a historical portrayal of the West. No prior acting experience is required, and selected candidates will have the chance to work alongside industry professionals.
Job Responsibilities:
- Portray characters in historically inspired roles that represent Native American men and women from the 1970s.
- Deliver lines in speaking roles with accuracy and authenticity, as directed by the production team.
- Collaborate effectively with the cast and crew to achieve the creative vision of the production.
Requirements:
- Must be Native American men or women in their 70s.
- Must be a member of SAG-AFTRA (or eligible for membership).
- No prior acting experience is necessary.
- Must be local to California and available for the duration of the filming period.
Compensation Details:
- Pay rate: $500+ per day.
- This is a union project, and compensation follows SAG-AFTRA guidelines.
