In this universe, magikal phenomena cross from their world into ours through open holes in the wall dividing us. One organization that knows of the magikal realm’s existence, Candela Obscura, upholds ‘Lighthouses’ that act as locked gates to keep the phenomena from entering. A circle of four investigators for Candela Obscura (our four players) have been specially chosen for an assignment lasting six months, to explore, research, repair, and maintain a Lighthouse located at the bottom of the ocean. They have one contact on land: their Lightkeeper (team leader), Angie. They are to report back any information they discover and protect the Lighthouse at all costs. The problem? They have been down there, for five years. They have no means to leave on their own and Candela Obscura refuses to retrieve them. As the years pass, their resources dwindle and the Lighthouse begins to decay. With no hope of a rescue and tensions between them running high, can they escape before the gate crumbles? Or is the phenomena lurking behind the door, the least of their worries?
