Our client is a multinational retailer of personal care and beauty products with nearly 340 brands, along with its own private label. It includes beauty products such as cosmetics, skincare, fragrance, nail color, beauty tools, body lotions, and haircare.
As an Art Director, you will execute creative for multiple marketing programs. This is a hybrid role, working two days in the office. Reporting to the Senior Art Director, you will be responsible for building the brand and concept development/execution of various marketing campaigns and programs, from concept to execution across all channels.
In addition, you will:
· Collaborate with Design leadership and Editorial in concepting cultural campaigns that honor our diverse audience. Propose and execute social-first pitches rooted in the campaign strategy for all
social channels.
· Support Event Design across various initiatives and programs.
· Support the Senior Art Director in trend and cultural research and developing strategic marketing campaign concepts to provide creative solutions that meets business objectives.
· Build thoughtful concept boards and presentations, photo and video briefs, and design across
multiple channels to visualize concept.
· Art direct photographers and content creators to execute creative.
· Manage projects, designers, and motion designers.
· Present creative in various settings.
· Align on the creative vision with your partners and run independently between check-ins.
· Partner closely with Editorial, Project Managers, Content Production and Marketing to develop and deliver creative for social channels.
· Build relationships with cross-functional partners.

We’re excited about you if you have:
· 5+ years of design experience.
· BA or BFA preferred in Graphic Design or Communication Design.
· A social-first mindset and projects that reflect experience in B2C Social Creative.
· Proficient knowledge of Adobe programs (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects) and Figma.
· Ability to illustrate, hand-letter or sketch is a plus.
· Solid organizational skills, detail-oriented; time management skills, ability to juggle priorities.
· Strong relationship-building skills; ability to collaborate and work with interdisciplinary partners.
· Good presentation skills and good communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Knowledge and experience in retail, beauty/fashion and understand current industry related trends
· Ability to work in a very fast-paced environment and meet very tight deadlines.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is the equivalent of $50.00 to $60.00 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
