General Purpose:

First Brands Group is looking for a qualified and motivated individual with a strong analytical background to join our Category Management Team. The Category Manager will play a critical role and will support the Customer and Category Teams with understanding the changing market trends.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities involve managing data assets & projects related to Category Management & Key Customer Deliverables.

· Oversee specific categories, understanding their contents, performance, growth, and how they set FBG apart to cater to customer needs.

· Establish annual and quarterly priorities to optimize category growth and improve performance.

· Support analytical projects to answer strategic questions or validate cases for category initiatives. Share insights with department and organizational leadership.

· Manage cross-functional initiatives to drive category success, collaborating with various teams including Marketing, Product, Supply Chain, and more

  • Serving as product experts and having an in-depth understanding of assigned categories
  • Assessing market competitors, understanding competitive product lines, with ability to compare the features and benefits of FBG products to competitor products
  • Identifying and monitoring market pricing trends. Communicates changes and trends to the appropriate team members so that action can be taken if necessary

· Compiling, Organizing, Interpreting and Reporting on varying Data Sets

· Assist with Line Review Content / Category Reviews

· Build and Maintain Cross-Functional Relationships

Knowledge/Skills

· Prior experience in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision – Aftermarket experience preferred

· Microsoft Office fluency with focus on Excel & PowerBI applications

· Superior attention to detail

· Strong Interpersonal Skills

· Ability to Multi-Task & Project Manage

· Critical Thinking & Problem-Solving Skills

· Fluent in spoken and written English

Education Requirements/ Experience

· Bachelors or Associates degree in Business, Marketing, Supply-Chain preferred.

· Automotive Certification/Apprenticeship would be evaluated

· Automotive Aftermarket Experience preferred

· Experience supporting Sales & Operations

· Preferred minimum of 1-2 years demonstrated automotive, Inside Sales, and or Operations experience

Associate Marketing Manager (WIPERS)

The primary function of this role is to act as a cross functional team member in support Wipers inclusive of TRICO, Michelin (licensed brand), ANCO and eCommerce. Doing so allows Marketing Managers to drive their lines of business and build stronger customer partnerships.

Essential duties and responsibilities include:

• Supports day-to-day brand initiatives with the planning, executing, and tracking of marketing programs: sales materials, packaging, paid media, web, social media, event or content creation etc.

• Oversees day-to-day projects with internal and external (agency) creative teams, coordinates schedules with external vendors and internal team members to drive projects to completion

• Writes creative briefs to provide business requirements for projects to support sales, retail customers to ensure accuracy and timeliness of projects

• Daily internal and agency interaction – Creating and reviewing content, proofread, and edit copy for various marketing channels, ensuring a consistent brand voice

• Help manage relationships with external vendors to ensure high-quality and timely execution of marketing programs

• Manage the tracking of billing and invoice payments

• Stay updated with latest marketing trends and competitor activities

The ideal candidate will have the following combination of education and experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communications, or advertising with 2-4 years of experience in a marketing support role

  • Self-starter with ability to prioritize and multitask (strong organizational skills)

  • Project Management Experience (deadline oriented)

• Collaborative with a willingness to learn and grow

• Strong interpersonal/communications skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization (cross functional teams, sales, external customers, and vendors)

• Knowledge of marketing strategies

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite especially MS Excel & PowerPoint, Adobe experience a +

Product Photography Intern – First Brands Group Catalog Team

This role is based in our Albion, IL office

General Purpose

To be responsible for working within a Catalog and Product data environment to support product photography and other media standards. Candidate must understand and excel in the area of digital media, digital imagery, photography, video and internet communication.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

· lead the planning and photography of digital product images

· facilitate and liaison with product management team demands

· support brand teams in the area of internet media needs

· ensure customer demands are met for B2C digital assets

· plan and schedule media project timelines

· track project deliverables using appropriate tools

· work with multiple digital asset management platforms and systems

Education and Experience

· formal education in digital media and/or digital arts is essential

· portfolio of prior projects (can be from education or commercial)

· competent with digital imaging and video hardware and software

· team player with strong communication skills
