About the role 

Join Mezmo at an exciting time when we are introducing our new product in a fast-growing new category. This is an opportunity to be a part of a nimble marketing team and to grow into a market leader. 

Our Marketing team is responsible for bringing innovative observability products to the market. Our Product Marketing team is responsible for partnering throughout the company to deliver customer insights, take new and existing products to market, and develop the messaging strategy and content to fuel growth. 

We are looking for a creative, collaborative Product Marketing Leader to build a world class Product marketing Function at Mezmo. Successful candidates will have the drive to understand customer needs, track market drivers, develop product expertise, and elevate our messaging to deliver solution-oriented campaigns. You will enjoy this role if you like working with fast-paced teams and have ownership to drive your initiatives. You will be reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer.

Responsibilities:

  • Build, manage, mentor and lead a team of Product Marketers and Content Marketers
  • Own new product launches, enablement, and capabilities in the Telemetry Pipeline category
  • Craft use-case specific positioning and messaging that creates compelling product messages and content
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams within marketing to plan and execute creative campaigns
  • Design and develop technical and non-technical sales and marketing collateral including, but not limited to, presentations, blogs, solution briefs, white papers, explainer videos, and webinars
  • Develop and deliver sales enablement training to internal and partner sales teams
  • Become a trusted partner to product, sales and customer success teams and establish a continuous feedback loop around market trends, customer feedback and competitive landscape

Qualifications: 

  • Experienced in 7+ years of product marketing, product management-focused roles in B2B tech that demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of product marketing and all of their strategic components
  • 2+ years of experience in building and leading a product marketing team
  • Proven experience in developing go-to-marketing strategy for products with self-serve/ PLG  motion
  • Excellent written, verbal and visual communication skills with a passion for storytelling
  • Excellent understanding of cloud environments and the SaaS sales motion
  • Experience in Observability, APM, Monitoring space is a plus

Compensation:

This role has an annual starting salary range of $170,000.00 – $252,000.00 + equity + benefits. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to your individual skills, experience and location.
