Account Manager

 

Imbue Creative is an award-winning branding, creative services, and digital marketing agency located in Lambertville, NJ. We help clients connect with audiences by developing creative solutions that inspire action.

 

We’re seeking an Account Manager to join our team. This position will be responsible for supporting the planning and execution of marketing campaigns for our company and our clients, while also supporting our Director of Client Success and President. This position will include supporting the team with creating and running projects that include online advertising, email marketing, online content, website development, press releases, sales presentations, and other print and digital marketing collateral.

Required Skills

·      Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

·      Top-notch communication and interpersonal skills.

·      Stellar organizational, planning, and time management skills.

·      Strong writing and proofreading skills.

·      Good knowledge of Google Analytics or other metrics solutions that can help assess campaign performance.

 

Bonus Skills

·      Knowledge of traditional and digital media channels, including emerging channels.

·      Knowledge of WordPress.

 

Qualifications/Experience

·      2+ years of experience as a marketing, communications, or account coordinator

·      Previous agency experience (2+ years).

·      A 2 or 4-year college degree, preferably in Marketing or Communications.

·      Experience working alongside account management, design, and development teams to ensure successful execution of existing plans, and creation of new, brand-building initiatives.

 

Responsibilities

  • Assist in development and execution of marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including digital, social media, print, and events
  • Maintain client accounts and relationships
  • Work with internal sales, creative, and marketing teams.
  • Coordinate and manage multiple projects and accounts simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered on timeline, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Prepare account service-related documents such as creative briefs, meeting agendas, meeting reports, proposals, campaign reporting, and other client communications and correspondence.
  • Develop and maintain a working-level understanding of assigned client’s industries, company culture, products/services and strategic communication plan.
  • Proactively communicate with clients on a daily basis in a professional, efficient manner.
  • Attend to the needs of the client and continually seek ways to add value to the client-agency relationship.
  • Assist in development of estimates and scope of work/contracts (SOWs) as requested
  • Assist in administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, opening job numbers, creating, and managing project folders, and office coordination.

Overview

The Creative Director is responsible for all creative operations at Imbue to include staff supervision and work production. This position directs the activities of the creative team to maintain the agency’s standards of creative excellence, timeliness, and profitability, while achieving the clients’ goals. They also work with internal and external clients, pitching designs, and understanding client needs.

 

Responsibilities

  • Ensures the timely development and execution of plans, campaigns, and projects to assure earnings, growth, and profit goals are achieved.
  • Plans and develops budget recommendations, work goals, measurements, and training requirements necessary to provide both profitable and quality service to clients.
  • Working with our account managers, develops budgets, creates proposals, and clearly communicates project deliverables to clients.
  • Provides leadership/motivation and conveys the vision and values of the agency to staff.
  • Trains and supervises assigned staff of writers, artists, developers, etc.; oversees their execution of all creative efforts to ensure they are on strategy, on budget, and on schedule.
  • Develops creative pieces for identified clients.
  • ensures the quality and integrity of all creative deliverables including art, copy, and digital experiences.
  • Manages the use of outside services including web developers, videographers and other contractors.
  • Recommends staffing and compensation changes.
  • Assures the staff adheres to established agency policy/procedures.
  • Maintains external professional relationships to assure the ongoing availability of specialized expertise, gifted freelancers, and reputable studios/producers when their services are required.
  • Participates in the new business efforts as needed.

 

Required Skills

  • Undergraduate degree in Fine Arts, Communications, or related field; or equivalent visual design, marketing, and management experience required
  • 10+ years experience working with design, marketing, and advertising
  • Expertise with layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography & limitations of the web; must understand digital development and have the ability to storyboard or translate ideas to designers and develop innovative user experience solutions
  • A strong working knowledge of experience design, brand development, and creative process
  • Print and web design capabilities: must know how to work in both media for integrated campaigns
  • Ability to lead projects from concept to completion.
  • Experience with software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and/or WordPress
  • Understanding of printing and direct mail
  • Ability to make evaluative judgments
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Ability to supervise and train employees, to include organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignments
