Job Responsibilities

  • Perform a lead or supporting role in a psychological horror short film.
  • Collaborate with the director and creative team to bring emotionally driven characters to life.
  • Participate in rehearsals and filming as scheduled.
  • Deliver authentic, character-focused performances on camera.

Requirements

  • Seeking actors for the following roles:
    • Maya: Female, 18+ to portray a 15-year-old, emotionally expressive with the ability to portray innocence, curiosity, and psychological unraveling.
    • Diane: Female, 40s–50s, modest and grounded with strong emotional range. Experience portraying complex characters is a plus.
    • Rattail: Male, 20s–30s, charismatic with emotional depth, strong improvisational skills, and the ability to portray a rebellious personality.
  • Open to performers of all ethnicities unless otherwise specified by the role.
  • Queer performers are encouraged to apply.
  • No acting experience is required.
  • Must be available to film in the Los Angeles area.

    • Celina: Latina or Black female, 50s. Warm-hearted widow learning to ride a bike after losing her husband.
