Status: Full-time

Pay type: Non-exempt; $23/hr – $28.85/hr, with full staff benefits

Position Summary

The HR Coordinator supports the Vice President/Head of HR in all areas of HR for the company, including payroll, benefits administration, training & development, compliance, recruiting, onboarding/offboarding, resource management, employee relations, performance management, compensation, DEI and culture.

Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities

– Provide support to all HR processes internally, taking the lead in onboarding/offboarding and resource management

– Act as a super user for all HR systems, including HRIS, payroll, benefits tracking, compliance training, Filemaker, background screening, 401K administration, time tracking, and applicant tracking; help research and select additional HR systems and tools as needed

– Handle various audits and reports in support of compliance measures, workers compensation, payroll, etc.

– Manage the Employee Handbook, including content updates, distribution and employee acknowledgments, as well as other compliance efforts, such as training and policies & procedures

– Support the company’s DEI efforts, including internal surveys, outreach activities and active recruitment

– Support company partnerships with schools and film organizations

– Assist with annual open enrollment and benefit renewals

– Help administer the company’s performance review program

– Contribute to the development of company culture

– Provide administrative support as needed; Manage personnel files

Required Experience & Skills

– At least 1 year of experience in a human resources role or internship, or equivalent education

– Strong desire to be an HR Generalist

– Experience in a creative industry preferred

– Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

– Must be able to prioritize tasks effectively

– Excellent writing, verbal communication and interpersonal skills

The Sr. Production Artist will work on multiple projects within the theatrical, broadcast, streaming and gaming spaces.

Beneficial Skills and Experience

-5+ years of experience as a Print Production Artist in an entertainment marketing environment

-Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat)

-Able to handle fast-paced workflow under pressure and multitasking between concurrent projects

-Exceptional attention to detail and organization skills

-Experienced at building final mechanicals and able to design OOH breakdowns

-Able to learn/apply studio branding rules and keep each project consistent and up-to-date with these rules

-Fluent in production from processing deliverable information (including media plans & spec sheets), template building, to creating production presentations for streaming and print clients and handling all finished asset deliverables.

-Ability to adapt to the team’s workflow for cohesiveness

-Proficiency in Google Slides, PowerPoint and Keynote

-Ability to create vector logos from raster comps

-Experience masking images

-Experience preparing and measuring billing blocks

Position pays $45/hr – $58/hr, overtime eligible, with full staff benefits.

Position Summary

The Assistant Editor works with a team to support producers and editors in the video editing and finishing process. Assistant Editors (AEs) are responsible for maintaining and organizing all incoming and outgoing elements in the production workflow, as well as providing support materials for editors. This position will work a night shift, likely 3:00pm – midnight.

Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities

· At least one year experience as an Assistant Editor in an entertainment marketing organization

· Exceptional knowledge of Premiere – Final Cut Pro and Avid are a plus

· Strong understanding of post production workflow

· Strong understanding of media management including importing/exporting, transcoding, video/audio specs, and naming conventions

· Experience in preparing, processing and submitting cue sheets

· Building finish preps (EDLS, AAFS, OMFS, XMLS)

· Creating supporting editorial materials (Overcuts, Stringouts, Shot Pulls)

· Creating supporting finishing materials (Scripts, Dialogue Lists, Shot Lists, VFX Stringouts)

· Candidates should have an extreme attention to detail, an ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure, be an exceptional problem solver, and flexibility in evolving protocols and competing priorities
