Job Description

As the Manager, Social Marketing & Strategy, you will report to the Senior Strategist, Social Marketing & Strategy, and will define and execute the social media strategy for Dentsu Creative brands across platforms. You will lead all social media and advertising initiatives to increase overall engagement with the brand and brand positioning, driving social media strategies that fuel the business with best -in-class creative execution. You will leverage the latest social strategies, and ultimately best represent the brand in the social space, ensuring the brand voice is carried out across all of our social media channels while driving performance. You will take part in a cross-channel marketing experience as you lead the social media aspect of the consumer journey for key activations. You will be the main point for content publishing & community building for the brand.

Ideal candidates are passionate about the ever-changing world of social marketing, conversations in culture and all things social media, from Instagram to TikTok. Candidates should have a keen interest in emerging trends across these platforms and recognize the impact of social marketing in an overall marketing strategy.

• Start to manage strategic skills including contributing to briefs, providing research, insights

• Assists in campaign reporting by gathering inputs across a variety of departments and data points.

You support the Social Strategist through insights from brand community:

• Supports in the crafting of creative and/or media briefs and inspiration stimuli such as case studies, analogies and other campaigns to prompt new ideas and thinking

• Working knowledge of social listening platforms & assists in campaign reporting by gathering inputs across a variety of departments

Qualifications

• 2-3 years professional experience in marketing, social media, digital strategy or related field

Additional information:

The anticipated salary range for this position is $60,000 – $75,000. Salary is based on a wide range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography. Requirements:

  • University degree or college diploma in advertising or a related field is required.
  • 7-10 years of experience in creating dynamic advertising campaigns for multinational clients.
  • 2+ years of experience directing a creative team with an automotive client.
  • Proven track record of driving business results for clients, through successful campaigns in various media platforms (innovative types of media will be appreciated).
  • Proven track record of creating internationally recognized, award-winning ideas, that have left a lasting impression on audiences worldwide.
  • Deep understanding of what it takes to create a successful Cannes-worthy campaign and understand the complexities of the award system.
  • Creative Award Show judging experience is a bonus.
  • You must have a passion for leadership, and proven abilities to manage and inspire a team of creative professionals to achieve their full potential.
  • Visionary leader who can take a primary role in building, mentoring, and managing integrated teams of art directors, copywriters, and other creative disciplines with a diverse set of skills, abilities, and experience.
  • Expertise in creating compelling, integrated campaigns to deliver maximum exposure and engagement for clients.
  • Ability to work closely with the Strategy and Accounts leads to foster an environment of teamwork and collaboration and provide guidance on campaign strategy and creative execution, using data and analytics input to inform your decisions and deliver successful creative.

Dentsu Creative is hiring an entry level Social Operations Assistant to partner with an exciting entertainment brand. You’ll be charged with ensuring all outward facing content is accurate and ties back to the brand voice and strategy alongside a passionate team of social experts. Our mission is to evolve the brand’s social presence, build on an existing community and stoke fandom to break into culture.

This role will report to the Director, Business Leadership.

Excitement about and knowledge of the entertainment industry is a must for all candidates, and a deep love of the social space is key. We’re looking for team members who have a sharp eye and pride themselves on their attention to detail. Ideal candidates are collaborative, work well in a fast-paced environment and are not afraid to speak up when something looks awry. They’ll act as the last line of defense for our creative work and partner closely with our account & social team members to ensure our best-in-class creative work is delivered & posted flawlessly.

  • Review and proofread all social content prior to publication, ensuring accuracy and consistency
  • Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines, voice and tone
  • Collaborate with the social strategy & account teams by reviewing any social trends and ensure they align with our brand standards
  • Review creative decks to ensure all visual elements are error-free & all write-ups are clear, concise & speak to the overall strategy
  • Work with the social strategy team to maintain detailed documentation and workflow processes for all social publishing
  • Act as final lens to ensure all the published content is aligned with the brand goals and strategies
  • Scan social channels for any possible issues (visual & written)
  • Assist all teams with small but important administrative tasks that ensure the account is running optimally

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing/Advertising or English
