Job Description
A major feature film is looking for stand-ins to support production during rehearsals, camera setups, and lighting adjustments. This is a non-union role and a great opportunity to be part of a professional film crew behind the scenes. Stand-ins play a critical role by matching the appearance of lead actors to ensure accurate camera work and lighting.

Job Responsibilities

  • Stand in for principal actors during technical setups

  • Remain still for camera and lighting adjustments

  • Work closely with the crew to match actor positioning

  • Follow directions and maintain consistency between takes

Requirements

  • Male: 5’7” or 5’8” (not 5’9”) & 150 lbs

  • Female: 5’4” & 110 lbs

  • Female: 5’5” & 90 lbs

  • Female: 4’9” & 80 lbs

  • All ethnicities welcome

  • Must have solid black hair with no highlights

  • Comfortable standing for extended periods and working with production teams

Compensation

  • Paid non-union role

  • Approximately 6-hour shoot

Job Description
A thriller film currently shooting in South Carolina is urgently seeking an African American male stand-in for an upcoming overnight shoot. Candidates must be dependable, adaptable, and available to report by 4:00 PM and work through the night as needed. The production is filming in the Moncks Corner area and offers a fast-paced, professional set experience.

Job Responsibilities

  • Serve as a stand-in for lighting, camera setups, and blocking

  • Remain available and alert throughout overnight filming hours

  • Work closely with the crew and talent for technical alignment

  • Maintain consistency in posture and performance for continuity

Requirements

  • Height between 5’10” and 6’3”

  • Must be available for extended overnight hours
