The HomeGoods Creative Director, Design is responsible for leading a large in-house creative design team in the development and implementation of the multichannel brand expression. The Creative Director, Design provides vision and oversight to effectively translate strategy into brand enhancing and revenue-generating initiatives with a focus on the digital and in-store customer experience.

- Interprets brand platforms and strategies to develop outstanding marketing campaigns that seamlessly integrate the needs of a fast-paced, constantly evolving multi-channel business with building the brand and driving transactions on both site and in store.
- Strategically driven leader with confirmed conceptual ability who understands how to coordinate brand, business, and customer context to drive traffic and conversion through content and design including social and digital media, email, e-comm web design, video, in-store signage/marketing and grand opening campaigns.
- Evolves and directs the multichannel brand photography vision, partnering with AVP Creative Leadership to continuously implement elevated on-brand imagery.
- Collaborates with brand, project management, digital marketing, and insights & analytics teams to deliver performance driven customer centric content.
- With AVP Creative Leadership, liaises with creative, media & PR agencies to fulfill integrated marketing campaigns throughout the year.
- Partners with AVP Creative Leadership and across internal brands to ensure differentiation in brand expressions.
- Generates and inspires teams to generate conceptual ideas that can be translated into commercialized creative work.
- Leads a team of art directors, designers and writers charged with completing creative content at a rapid pace for an integrated marketing strategy with a focus on digital and print.
- Leads and develops impactful teams that stay relevant with the evolving trend and tech driven consumer and media landscape.
- Creates and supports an open, authentic environment where diverse opinions are encouraged and respected.
- Enables collaborative and flexible teamwork.
- Acts as a mentor to junior staff carving out opportunities to spotlight rising talent
- Partner with AVP Creative Directors to manage the creative dollars, ensure projects are produced on budget with adequate staffing needs
Qualifications
- BFA in Graphic Design or equivalent degree or professional work experience
- 10-15 years design experience with 3–5 years of management experience
- Experience collaborating with external creative, media, and PR agencies
- Experience leading a medium to large creative staff
- Confirmed talent in design & exceptional design sense
- Adept at conceptual thinking and storytelling
- Ability to work in all media with a heavy concentration in digital and social
- Understanding of store design and visual merchandising
- Extensive understanding of photography, video, illustration, print process, typography, digital media, and associated production
- Ability to understand data/critical metric performance and translate creative work
- Extensive photo shoot experience and talent network
- Proficient InDesign, Photoshop, illustrator, Microsoft office
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to juggle multiple projects across retail and digital channels, while managing budgets and timelines

The Creative Director provides vision and oversight to effectively translate strategy into brand enhancing and revenue-generating initiatives with a focus on the digital and in-store customer journey. Partnered with a Creative Director, Design this candidate will bring the T.J.Maxx brand to life across multiple channels for a seamless brand experience.
Who We Are Looking For: You.
- Partner with Creative Director, Design to interpret brand platforms and strategies to develop high-quality marketing campaigns that seamlessly integrate the needs of a fast-paced, constantly evolving multi-channel business with building the brand and driving transactions on both site and in store.
- Data driven leader who understands how to coordinate brand, business, and customer context to drive traffic and conversion through content and copy including social and digital media, email, site/web copy, video, in-store signage/marketing and store opening marketing materials.
- Provide TOV vision and partner with Copy Leadership and agency partners to continuously evolve and achieve elevated brand messaging through authentic, compelling, and purposeful copy
- Collaborates with brand, project management, fashion merchandising, digital marketing, and insights & analytics teams to deliver performance driven customer centric rate of Content
- Liaise with creative, media & PR agencies to fulfill integrated marketing campaigns throughout the year
- Partner across brands to ensure differentiation in brand expressions
- Inspires teams to generate conceptual ideas that can be translated into commercialized creative work
- Manages a team of copywriters tasked with executing creative content at a rapid pace for an integrated marketing experience with a focus on digital and print
- Creates and supports an open, authentic environment where diverse opinions are encouraged and respected at every level
- Enables collaborative and flexible teamwork
- Acts as a mentor to junior staff
Qualifications
- 8-10+ years of related work experience managing a team of writers and designers
- Experience collaborating with outside agency partners
- Proven writing talent and strong creative sense
- Ability to manage across all channels, with a heavy concentration in video development for social and social media platforms
- Deep understanding of retail environment
- Ability to understand data and translate into creative development
- Ability to juggle multiple teams, projects, and timelines
- Experience with photography, photo shoots, video production, and post-production processes
- Understanding of creative processes and continual improvements to benefit workflow management

Sr. Content Producer, Marketing Services
This role manages the execution of photo and video shoots from start to finish to ensure the photo strategy is accomplished for print, digital, and eCommerce. The Sr. Content Producer is responsible for coordinating the acquisition of talent, crew and production needs, while managing overarching photography budgets for the brands. This role will also manage the negotiation of vendor rates, creating project estimates, and compiling vendor contracts. The Content Producer is a leader within the department and works closely with Creative and Brand partners to help bring the marketing strategy and creative vision to life at a high level. This role assists in researching industry standards and trends, and presenting initiatives that drive for the department forward.
Major Areas of Responsibility
- Collaborate with the Creative and Brand teams to bring the creative concept to life by managing every facet of photo and video production, including location, talent, stylist and crew.
- The Content Producer will generate estimates and manage shoot budgets. This role will work with and manage outside producers when needed to bring the concept to life.
- Partner with creative directors, art directors, project management and brand team members to schedule shoots based on production deadlines and sample availability.
- Oversee production logistics of various ad campaigns, PR, e-commerce/digital and still life photo shoots for each TJX brand, while managing the legal aspects of image usage.
- Develop strong relationships with outside agencies while sourcing new locations, talent and models for the creative teams.
- Explore new photography, crew, talent and locations to bring current trends and resources to the brands. Attend industry conferences as deemed necessary for exploration purposes.
- Negotiate competitive rates for photographers, stylists, models and all production needs.
- Provide operational direction on photo shoots and oversee all productions while keeping shoots timely and on budget.
- Post-production tasks of scheduling returns, review and approve all invoices from photo shoots and management of the photography budget.
- Work within the process and procedures of TJX corporate, meeting with the legal department to insure proper legal updates.
