Guardians of the Galaxy 2 is ramping up production in Atlanta, Georgia, according to the movie’s director, James Gunn’s Facebook page and first reported by Bizjournals.com.
Marvel’s new sequel to Guardians of the Galaxy is ramping up production in Atlanta, Georgia. The sequel’s director James Gunn, who posted last month that Guardians of the Galaxy 2 was going to film in Atlanta, Georgia revealed that he was headed to Atlanta to film the sequel for ten months.

Guardians of the Galaxy will be the third Marvel movie to film at Pinewood Studios. Filming is expected to start in February 2016.
The first Guardians of the Galaxy featured Chris Pratt, Bradley Cooper, Zoe Saldana and Vin Diesel. It would later become a box office hit making nearly $775 million dollars worldwide. The release of Guardians of the Galaxy 2 is scheduled to hit theaters on May 5, 2017. Details surrounding the new Guardians of the Galaxy movie have not been revealed.
