Melanie Wacker

I am a professional dancer and Dance Captain from New Zealand with international experience performing in high-energy stage productions, commercial entertainment and live shows. I hold a Bachelor of Creativity in Performing Arts and have developed a versatile performance background across Commercial, Jazz, Contemporary, Hip-Hop, Musical Theatre and stage entertainment. My professional credits include performing internationally with TUI MAGIC LIFE, where I progressed into the role of Dance Captain, leading rehearsals, maintaining choreography and performance standards, supporting cast development and performing across multiple large-scale productions. I have also worked professionally in India under contract with Octopus Entertainment and performed with Weber Bros Circus in New Zealand for their Enchanted Christmas productions. I am a confident, expressive and highly adaptable performer with strong musicality, stage presence and the ability to learn choreography quickly. Alongside performing, my Dance Captain experience has strengthened my leadership, teamwork, communication and ability to work professionally in fast-paced international environments. Originally from New Zealand, I am now pursuing new professional opportunities internationally and am especially interested in commercial dance, stage productions, touring shows, cruise entertainment, theatre, circus and live events. I bring energy, professionalism, versatility and a genuine passion for performing to every production I am part of.
