Ariela Collazo

Ariela Collazo is a Puerto Rican actor and model born and raised in Nebraska. She found her love of performing through live theater and slowly transitioned into television and film. She landed her first lead role in a short film in 2019. Shortly after, she took a break from performing to focus on her mental health and returned to the industry in 2022. Her first credit back on the scene was being part of the tech crew at the 2022 Hollywood Fringe Festival. Collazo is a recent alumni of Applause International. Performing in the categories of; monologue, TV commercial, film-scene, and improvisation, Collazo won multiple awards for her performances. She is a recent recipient of the New York Conservatory of Dramatic Arts Degree Program Scholarship. Acting and auditioning may be their main focus, but Ariela still finds time to strut her stuff on the runway. She recently walked for three different themes at Applause International, and she designed, created, and modeled a custom look she calls "Queen of Hearts" for one of the themes. (see gallery) Collazo's small-town roots influence the way she creates and share stories in her day-to-day life as well as on the screen and stage. While she never quite knows what her next project is going to be, she invites you to follow along and continue to support her in her journey of creation and chaos.
