Interstellar Director and The Brother’s “Hired Murder”

Interstellar movie director, Christopher Nolan and the brother who allegedly hired a killer to murder the family’s accountant.

The director behind the box office hit, Interstellar is accused of a mysterious murder plot. Brothers, Christopher and Jonathan Nolan wrote and directed Interstellar. The movie features Anne Hathaway and Matthew McConaughey.

However, their brother Matthew Nolan is linked to a contract killing in Costa Rica. Currently, Matthew Nolan is accused of allegedly hiring a killer of a financier. Now, the United States government refuses to extradite Matthew Nolan and he currently remains a free man.

Behind the scenes of Christopher Nolan’s new movie is an alleged murder mystery that will most likely never hit the silver screen.

Matthew, the eldest of the brothers, faces the persistent allegation that he was a ‘hired killer’, the hitman behind the financier’s death.

He was arrested and imprisoned during extradition proceedings – and prepared a bizarre escape attempt involving tied-together bed sheets.

The extraordinary story centres on the accusation by authorities in Costa Rica, filed in an extradition request to a US court, that Nolan was a ‘hired killer’ contracted to kidnap and torture American accountant Robert Cohen, 63, while he was on a trip to the Central American country. [Daily Mail]

Costa Rican government officials are still interested in pressing charges on Christopher Nolan’s brother and are actively investigating the “hired murder”.

This weekend Interstellar was praised by critics, fans, and Hollywood. Interstellar centers around a group of explorers as they travel beyond this galaxy to discover whether mankind has a future among the stars. Matthew McConaughey stars in the sci-fi thriller that is currently rated 73% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Christopher Nolan is a Hollywood giant. His creative ideas have produced some of Hollywood’s biggest movies. Nolan is a film director, screenwriter, and producer. He created several of the most successful films of the early 21st century, and his eight films have grossed over $3.5 billion worldwide. He gained considerable popularity for his second feature film, Memento. The acclaim of these independent films gave Nolan the opportunity to make the big-budget thriller Insomnia, and the more offbeat production The Prestige. He found further popular and critical success with The Dark Knight trilogy , Inception  and Interstellar.

Joe Dirt is returning for ‘Joe Dirt 2: Beautiful Loser’ and production is ramping up for this new movie in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Filming for Joe Dirt 2 is set to begin this month and to continue for 5 weeks through out Louisiana. Central Casting Louisiana posted a casting call seeking background extras to work on the upcoming feature film. Anyone that is interested in being an extra on the movie can come to the casting director’s office to register and get their picture taken.

We recently reported that production David Spade was interested in remaking the cult classic, Joe Dirt. According to Deadline, the new movie is being produced by Sony on the Crackle platform. David Spade will return in the sequel to reprise his role as idiotic red neck. Fred Wolf (Saturday Night Live) will direct the Joe Dirt sequel, Joe Dirt 2. David Spade recently joked about the sequel… “I’m beyond stoked that Joe Dirt will finally hit the screens again on Crackle. I’ve been sleeping in this wig for years and it will be nice to wear it in the daytime again.”

‘The Ring 3’ Now Filming in Atlanta, Georgia

Paramount Pictures ‘The Ring’ sequel, ‘The Ring 3’ is now filming in Atlanta, Georgia

The sequel to the critically acclaimed horror-thriller, ‘The Ring 3’ is ramping up production in Atlanta, Georgia.

According to reports, Filming of ‘The Ring 3’ started earlier last month in East Mountain Studios in Conyers, Georgia.

Conyers-Rockdale Economic Development Council members were told Tuesday that the Paramount Pictures production is expected to begin filming Oct. 27 at East Mountain Studios. Local work on the film is expected to continue through April.

“The Ring 3” is the sequel based on the Japanese cult series. The sequel to “The Ring” will revolve around a mysterious video tape that kills its viewers a week after the person watches it. According to Variety, Paramount Pictures has hired F. Javier Gutierrez to direct the sequel in “The Ring” franchise. Gutierrez is also attached to direct “The Crow” reboot for Relativity and the Weinstein Company and also directed “Before the Fall.”

The Georgia film industry has exploded in the last five years. Gina Hartsell, the project manager and film liaison for Conyers-Rockdale Economic Development Council revealed that “We’ve had many, many studios looking here, and we’ve had good relationships so far,” Hartsell said.

Rockdale County has been designated as Camera Ready by the Georgia Film, Music & Digital Entertainment Office (FMDE). The designation is given to Georgia communities interested in attracting film and television production by providing better access to production resources and location information.

‘Hunger Games’ The Musical Coming Soon? Producers Announce Upcoming Stage Play

Jennifer Lawrence’s ‘The Hunger Games’ is being developed into a stage play and perhaps musical

Producers are interested in making as much money from The Hunger Games franchise as possible. According to reports, producers are planning on creating a stage version of ‘The Hunger Games’.

Movie studio Lionsgate says it is teaming up with entertainment companies in the U.S. and the Netherlands to create a live version of the book and film series about a dystopian world in which teenagers are forced to fight to the death.

Producers plan on hiring Robin de Levita, who is known for creating a rotating auditorium for the musical “Soldier of Orange” and the Anne Frank play.

This is not the first time we have received reports of a Hunger Games production outside of the cinemas. It was previously reported that Lionsgate was interested in creating a Hunger Games Amusement park similar to the Harry Potter world in Universal Studios.

The Atlanta filmed “Mockingjay: Part 1” hits theaters later this November.

Maze Runner: Scorch Trials, is based on the second novel in James Dashner’s Maze Runner book series. The sequel to ‘The Maze Runners: Scorch Trials’ centers around the Gladers that have escaped the Maze, but now they face an even more treacherous challenge on the open roads of a devastated planet.

“The Scorch Trials” stars Dylan O’Brien (“The Maze Runner,” “Teen Wolf”), Ki Hong Lee (“The Maze Runner,” “She Has a Boyfriend”), Kaya Scodelario (“The Maze Runner,” “Moon”), Thomas Brodie-Sangster (“The Maze Runner,” “Game of Thrones”), Dexter Darden (“The Maze Runner,” “Cadillac Records”), Giancarlo Esposito (“Breaking Bad,” “The Usual Suspects”), and Patricia Clarkson (“The Maze Runner,” “Shutter Island”).

The production is looking for young adults 18 -27 as well as Middle Eastern, African America, Asian, Hispanic and Caucasian men, women and children for non-speaking paid roles. The casting call is being run by Elizabeth Gabel.
